Chief Credit Officer
Cumberland Valley National Bank is one of the largest banks in Southern Kentucky, headquartered in London with fifteen branches located from Corbin to Louisville. CVNB is searching for an experienced Banking professional with a minimum of ten years’ Lending and/or Credit Administration experience to lead the Credit function.
- This position will report to the Board of Directors with a dotted line to the President & CEO. This position supervises a team of Credit Analysts as well as the Credit Risk Officer who oversees the construction draw process as well as the “Managed Assets” and Appraisal Review.
- In addition, this position is a member of the Management Loan Committee and will be responsible for the review of all credits with aggregate debt in excess of $500,000 as well as the quality of the analysis presented to MLC and Board. This person will also attend Board Meetings and provide additional details regarding the credit requests.
- The CCO will oversee the Annual Review process and ensure all are performed in a timely manner and presented to MLC and the Board. The CCO will also work closely with all Lenders, Market Presidents, and the bank’s Senior Lender with the responsibility for the overall Credit Quality of the bank including maintenance of the Loan Policy.
